Our Services

This program is available to any client of a CFS agency that is able to enter into a service contract with Aulneau.

The Sliding Scale Program helps make counselling more affordable for people facing financial barriers. Fees are based on annual gross household income, and applicants are asked to provide proof of income. The program is available upon request.

The program provides caregivers with a sense of community as they build positive parenting practices to develop strong, secure attachments crucial for healthy child development. Snacks, activity packages, and books are also provided free of charge to help caregivers make a literacy-enriched environment in the home, building a positive attitude towards life-long leaning and development.

This program supports family reunification and preservation by strengthening caregiver-child attachment, through observation, constructive feedback, and therapeutic activities, caregivers learn positive ways to engage with and attune to their children.

Our Parent Coaching Program is for any caregivers looking for support. help with boundary setting, routine development, interpersonal effectiveness, and coping skills. These areas all work to help promote healthy attachment between caregivers and their kids. No matter the intensity of parenting challenges, I strive to provide our families with the support they seek.

How does sliding scale work? Does it affect my insurance?
Our sliding scale program is based on an applicant’s total gross household income annually. Proof of household income will need to be provided. We do not offer a reduced rate for insurance claims. Insurance rates are automatically set at $140.00 per session.
Does my insurance coverage pay for appointments?
Each insurance plan is different. You will need to check your insurance plan with your employer or the insurance company itself. This information is included where all your health benefits are listed.
Please don’t assume that services are covered as they may not be.
We do not offer a reduced rate for insurance claims.
Where can I sign up for counselling?
You can sign up online or ask for a registration form at our Hamel office,
Can I make my appointment over the phone or e-mail?
You are welcome to do either. If you would like to email reception at reception@aulneau.com and inform us of the week which you are looking for an appointment, the time frame and the therapists name, we are able to book through email. If you would like to call (204) 987-7090, your appointment can be made over the phone as well.
However, it is in your best interest that you make an appointment at your last appointment with your therapist. They carry a large case load, and their appointment times are booked well in advance.
What if I can’t make it to my appointment?
Your therapist has set the appointment time for you. That appointment time is not available for any other client or purpose. We ask that you attend appointments as scheduled.
There are times when illness occurs or an urgent matter arises. In those cases, we ask that you cancel with 24 hours notice.
If you do not provide the minimum of 24 hours notice, you will be charged half a fee of your sliding scale rate for the missed session.
What are the rates at Aulneau Renewal Centre?
If you are a client involved with Child and Family Services (CFS) and CFS is requesting therapy, a contract will be created between Aulneau Renewal Centre and CFS. You will not need to make any payment as the CFS agency will be invoiced.
If you have insurance, you will need to know which professional designations your insurance company will cover. If Aulneau can meet the requirements of your insurance company, your appointments will be booked with the appropriate service provider. For example, some insurance companies only allow for billing for a Social Worker.
For group sessions, the rates will vary depending on the length of the session, activities and focus.
Payment is accepted at the beginning of each session via cash, e-transfer, debit, MasterCard or Visa.
There is a $25.00 administrative fee for NSF (not sufficient funds) cheques.
